about

Magog are a brass, drums and reeds quartet creating a strong, rich and rhythmic music for club, stage and street. A mini brass band or deranged modern village band they play wild grooves and evocative tunes, creating a dream time jazz for today. . Named after the Giant in British and world mythology they draw on many traditions of street music to delight, bewilder and entrance mythic beasts and humans.
The band have a wide range of experience in street bands, contemporary music, jazz, circus and theater. Much of their music was by Tim written for outdoor shows and processions like the Macnas parade in Galway.
