Worried I was falling into a hole, falling into being the only thing in this present weightlessness of despair. I wandered out, nearly fainting, in the sun, the cicada song of mid July, on the high falls road. My friends went swimming at Kaaterskill Falls, and I went to the river, walking pale feet in, stumbled on stones, bitten by the fishes, then falling, submerged, breathlessness, like a touch of awe, I got what I came for, then soaked walked to the inn. We rode back into the night, me thinking I might deal with this problem if only to make days more easy, then as people descended upon my house for this mid summer music.

It's always interesting seeing qualchan. splitting pieces up with more noisier, abrasive artists on his albums whenever they do. There's a nice contrast to be found between the more sporadic, experimental loops on the first half when you get to pair with a more cohesive force, like watching a thick darkness melt over onto a perfectly sculpted statue and create something oddly captivating. Fans of either experimental, industrial loop work and psychedelic tape manipulations will like this one.
