about

"Sun Chief Moccas" is a one hour conceptual piece condensing a period of six months of our improvisational practice.

Three hours of freely improvised material are subjected to a compositional process informed by experimental concepts of indeterminacy and verticality.

This process fragments our improvisations while filtering their intrinsic logic, highlights their sonic properties, and generates its own contextual level.
