about

from Rick Gallagher about the recording process and post production of Capacitor Discharge~~~~~it`s hard to believe that this is live, i think it was 2 mikes and a direct line going straight to my mini disc player. no overdubs, it was originally one long jam, done at Jeff's place in runnemeade, heinz was there too. all of Jeff's equipment was out of there, i think he was moving to colorado. maybe 6 or 7 months later, jeff and i ended up mastering that onto a one inch tape machine and the tape ran out half way. all of this was in his mom`s kitchen. i don`t even think we could hear it, just watching levels. at 22 and 23 minutes a song it`s probably still too long. i was thinking of doing some remixes of that material when i find some time.~~~~~Capacitor Discharge was recorded sometime in 1999
