LIVE ON WFMU WITH INTERVIEW BY BRIAN TURNER

by Steve MacKay with the Blue Prostitutes

supported by
Plasnes
Plasnes thumbnail
Plasnes Dark, hypnotic, and deep sax driven jazz rock. The way the two saxes (and the trumpet on track 3) play these different motifs that sort of blend together and weave in and out is super satisfying. Sometimes one of the instruments break out and creates a beautiful dissonance. I wish Steve Mackay was able to do more work with The Blue Prostitutes. R.I.P Steve Mackay, you are a legend. Favorite track: Fractured Cogs.
