Written and performed by Wizards Tell Lies

"For the last ten years Wizards Tell Lies have been documenting the build up to the nightmarish world in which we now live. Aural madness for a post truth era. Bad memories buried somewhere deep in the subconscious. A recurring cast of characters that strive for a beautiful world, but end up dragged down into the mire.

Through standout tracks - like Who Is Mr. Broom? from the eponymous debut, which evokes a horrible ritual taking place in the woods; to the false hope conjured by Paralysed We Slumped Deeper Into the Gloom of the Consuming Waters from third album The Failed Silence - they’ve spent the last decade putting to music that constant nagging feeling that something is deeply wrong with the world, and that gnawing anxiety that something right around the corner is coming along soon to topple the whole house of cards.

Well, the cards are well and truly on the table in 2017, and new album Lost King, After You finds Wizards Tell Lies exploring the aftermath. Please do not look for comfort in the six confusing soundscapes on offer, instead, try to find your way through the labyrinth as best you can."
